Just as well the defamation laws are not used for internet postings !!! or maybe they are .
The DNI does scans internet forums about the DR (like the old days when Trujillo was in power) and keep an eye on the postings of certain people whose postings could be considered a possible security problem for the DR. The question is do they scan forums in English? As the saying gord, DR1 is the largest English-language internet website about the DR, do to think this website isn't known to them is a little naive. Their computers can automatically see things on any website they visit that are only visible to moderators and administrators such as IP addresses and this withouet asking for permission from the website's owner. Then again, the same happens with other spy agencies of other governments such as the NSA of the US.

The internet isn't as anonymous as some may think.
