There are more than one way to change status, marriage is one way but it is not automatic.
But if there is one country where violence should be a consideration in repatriation it certainly is Haiti.
The country is a collapsed mess and there are so many good Haitiansiit s very sad

Correct, but marriage cannot not alter their status until they can prove a bona fide relationship...........and that for those under this program and TPS is a very heavy lift. Note that these are/were temporary programs and were never designed to grant any permanent immigration status ..............

The roundup and mass deportation for those who do not self deport will continue.

Well, since the program didn't go through congress it is debatable on the legality of it.

Thanks Bob, was not aware of that. I still think it's a worthwhile program. At least the BA got one thing right. The execution just sucked.

Actually that program could have worked. I totally support the concept. It was ran poorly but that was the Brandon Admin.
