I knew Ted well. When at Rocky’s about 20 years ago late one night Marc calls me. A Haitian hooker pulled a knife on Ted in Rocky’s and a fight between the two started. PN came and arrested them both. Marc could not get him out. I rushed right over to the station and got him out. So we were in the station and the Colonel who we woke up says to me what do you want to do with the girl. So I asked Ted and he says could you get her out also. I said yes, but why? Ted says I feel sorry for her. I got her released with her promise to never come near Rocky’s again. Ted really had a good heart. RIP………..

I know this story. I think Marc told me. Ted was gruff on the outside but he had a heart of gold. He knew the score.
I will really miss him. He was my friend for 20 years, he was my neighbour for 5 years. Some nights the booze got the better of me but never him. He was a solid dude.

Rest in Peace Ted.
I lived around the corner from that bar and spent many a night there. It was a fun little bar. My favorite bar I might say.

From the DR1 archives Thanksgiving 2007 shows Ted at the end of the table facing the camera. Old timers will recognize many from DR1 at the table as well.RIP Ted.

Shared a few pops with Ted over the years. He was a character. I loved his stories. Great guy indeed.

We first met him at the Britania back when Barb and Lyndon owned it.

Approximately how old was Ted when he passed? I have not been back to Sosua in ten years or more so I have sorta forgot how old he was at that time. I'm guessing he was mid to upper 60's now but could be way off.

He was 70. He would have been 71 in January.
