Very well said. I have some AA friends(professionals) who are now no longer going to Sosua for all the reasons you stated. They're now going to Colombia instead.

Interesting. I have a few "AA friends(professionals)" as well. :devious:

We have two of the most important pieces of paper ever created: American passports and dollars. We travel where we please, when we want.

Little secret: we hate being around loud, ignorant obnoxious people too, regardless of nationality and melanin content. And Colombia, Brazil and Thailand aren't the only fun places to go, not by a long shot.

Turns out, women like confident men who like women, and know how look and act like gentlemen.

That said, some still go to the North Coast. Others enjoy Santiago, and those with families love them some Las Terrenas and the East Coast generally. Have yet to hear they didn't enjoy their time there.

Blue Collar Town in New Jersey
Noise was just an excuse to get rid of AD.....remember they planted an under age chica in Rancho Tipico and raided the place..... Ad spend time in jail...they were always out to get Ad anyway.

yes, and he kind of brought it on himself though... if you know AD , you know exactly when that happened .. Lets just say he was not asked to close the Black Box on the Beach.. he was kind of run off. and troubles followed him everywhere after that . AD in his prime was a Fantastic Businessman, and knew exactly what his clients wanted .. Superb Host in every way ... But then he started drinking heavily, Alienating everyone , even those who helped to promote him , and it went downhill fast for him..... So it was not just "they were always out to get him".... He just burned way too many bridges .

Bourbon street is supposedly going to be allowed to be open to 6am. I can't imagine that many of the guests at Anhvee will want to be hearing music blasting at that hour(?).

Imagine of AA behavior makes other AA's stay away from Sosua, how they make other non-AA groups consider alternate destinations...

The place has been an open septic-tank for a very long time. It has attracted the same creatures that are drawn to, and congregate within septic-tanks. Changes are in the works. Pretty simple, even if some want to speak differently.

are you saying because the septic- tank area has been closed and moved to a different location, Sosua now will enjoy a better whore monger, as well as a nicer selection of chicas?

They can Build a wall to hang a coming soon sign , lickety split , but it takes YEARS to build a Sidewalk
which is " for the children " , ....

I think you just proved a point you did not intend to prove Ctrob ..

Yeah butt..... It is most likely two different entities we're talking about.

The gov't starting and stopping construction on the sidewalk. And a separate private entity building the wall. And maybe, that's why the halted construction on the wall? Somebody caught the bonehead mistake and said wait till we build the wall, and then you can build the walk up against it. Makes sense to me.

And a quick update on the wall, the newly dug trench goes from Calle Eleuterio Brito in Charimicos all way to that beach access entrance just before playa media. The new wall is following the curb line contours, about 2 meters in from the curb.

They'll probably leave that access driveway open, gotta have somewhere to offload the D6.

I do not understand why everybody talks about a wall... the foundation they doing now is for sure with blocs but like you maybe noticed the metal pipes and wire mesh fence to put there is lying there since weeks....

I could be wrong, it's happened once before. But really, we're just a bunch of nitwits on the interweb.

Then what's the masonry block for? Maybe a masonry/fence wall.

From the comments to that article above:

Kevin Moore
this is a freaking joke. It was ok when the whites were the only ones involved in prostitution on the strip. Now its an issue when black Americans started coming . Remember how it started on the north coast . it was for the refugee German jews . YOUR WEAK INFRASTRUCTURE WONT SUPPORT FAMILY LIFE THERE. Good luck without the black Americans pouring thousands of dollars into sosua every day. smh!

Guess what Kevin Moore? You are not wrong, but I would not call it a joke. The government is dead serious.

That now begs the question;
Will there be a red light area or not?
The walled city is still going up,albeit very slowly again,so do they have any actual permissions to open 'party' establishments?

It's already chaos up this end since Bourbon Street came back so with High Caribbean opening the peace will be ruined. It used to be just the chickens and dogs keeping us awake. Now it's motos and rowdy folk at all hours. All we need now is a real Dominican Car Wash..

As a thought;
If they wanted to protect poor innocent children from the evils of drink and loose living why would they allow it in a residential area with three or more schools and dozens of kids living around?
The paradox of DR.

wrecksum, the reason is simple. They want the hookers in a different location than they were in. There are obviously plans for the area where they were "evicted" from. And I am sure the authorities don't care at all about the disruption it causes as the east end of Pedro Clisante. This type of change was discussed for years. Sad it seems to be for anyone that lives near that new hooker region.

Before Elvis went to jail there was a huge hooker joint there, right across the street from those new condos. He probably had 40 chicas there catering to the Russians and whoever else ventured east.

HAHAHAHAHAHA of course they would make it about race.... SHIEEEEEET what i love even more is the fact that these "BROTHAZ" are actually believing that the prostitutes "like them".

then... there is the one BROTHAAAAA thats trying to run for mayor of Sosua

Actually the monger that’s responsible in my opinion is Taylor made dreams.... he left his condo in sosua and moved to puerto Plata.
He had a party on the beach with hookers dancing in the faces of the brothers on a Sunday; this is when Dominican families frequent the beaches.... Dominican families don’t want their kids to see that.
He should be locked up like Cuba Dave in Costa Rica.
