Exactly. Hotels are private property and many will only allow registered to guests to enter. And forget about "greasing the palm". At these high end hotels, these jobs are too hard too get and too valuable to risk your job so some monger can bring his spandex queen back to the hotel. Security cameras everywhere. Way too risky.

I wouldn’t worry about it ..I’m yet to see a flip flop chaser afford a Marriot...most to cheap to take cab or moto concho to Dark side of town..

WE'll have to see how many guests the Marriott in Sousa manages to attract. It doesn't strike me the type of place your average Sosua visitor will choose to stay.
come on sir windy. We have been down this road. All the hotels allow guests. Many of the businessmen have their favorite guests regularly at poolside, hotel restaurants etc. Obviously they are not wearing fluorescent spandex, spike heels and chewing gum. They are more subtle and for lack of a better term sophisticated. Its easy to see they are not there for conversation, or to attend meetings but rather companionship
From 2020 on, they are now classified as "Covid19" related demises. Nobody mentions SIDA any longer.
Some high end hotels have their own high end girls on site that have been thoroughly vetted.
Access to the lobbies and restaurants is sometimes allowed for real guests, but to elevators and rooms is controlled.

Absolutely true in SD. I’ve personally seen the elevator restrictions many times.
We often stayed at the Hispaniola, because it was near my mother-in-law’s house. Those elevator guys were like swat teams. They stopped any guy or girl trying to bring a guest upstairs. The guys who wanted to bring girls to their room used to book the poolside rooms.
Was the same at the Embajdor, Hotel Santo Domingo, etc.
I commuted to SD from North Coast for a project a few years ago, 3 nights/week in the Dominican Fiesta (Cacicazgos área). The lobby was full of professional women many nights
I should have been better prepared. You see, I'm still learning!
We used to entertain ourselves , with a drink in hand, watching this , and make bets when a " couple" walked in on how it would go down .
The Melia and Jaragua did not play.. they would throw people out ..
