The Telegraph of the UK promotes traveling to the DR

A recent feature in The Telegraph, the UK newspaper, calls for UK tourists to come to visit the Dominican Republic. The correspondent Chris Leadbeater includes the DR in his short list of destinations (Las Vegas, Malaga, Brussels, Marseilles, Dubai, Sarajevo, Zurich and the countries Colombia and the Dominican Republic) that he says “aren’t what they’re perceived to be” by UK tourists, and he calls them “the world’s most misunderstood places.” In his contribution to The Telegraph, the writer gives new reasons to visit.

In the case of the Dominican Republic, he says it is much more than an extensive collection of beach hotels, and is not the cheap resort destination many may perceive the country to be.
