How long will the road be torn up from the Hispaniola road to Papeterria? OK they were doing new curbs but then Corraplata dug a trench and haven't put anything in part of it, it's a dangerous eyesore .
Will they just leave it to flood when heavy rains return.
Why can't they restore the Germany Restaurant entrance. Yes SUVs can hop the new 'curb' but not small cars. And the rocky entrance to Valentine Plaza and the big Chinese junk store must be costing them business.
The mayor should demand the work be cleaned up

You better fix that mess before I go over there, I like to go to the German Restaurant for the barbeque special dinner.

I will alert the media!

Hey, these things take time. Lots of time. More than anyone could ever predict amounts of time. You know, like the bridge, the new firehouse, the construction on Sosua beach and the clean up of Sosua in general.

They need to bring in engineers educated outside of DR and with experience in other places because the speed of work, or lack of it, boggles the mind how it could be this incompetent
But I noticed that here in the US they are kind of slow too lately. They have been widening Pool Road here in Raleigh, they have been working for over three years and haven't completed 50% of the work that needed to be done. Less than two miles.

But, trillions of dollars have been approved for infrastructure(?).

The approach taken here seems to be to work on the entire stretch of road at the same time instead of working on one section at a time. That way many locales are inconvenienced for the longest possible time until the job eventually gets done.

Much like the improvements on the road between Puerto Plata and Santiago which also took a very long time.

Yes, and the road from Sabaneta to Moca, along which they tore up many stretches well over a year ago and the ones down at the Sabaneta end are still in that state.
