Listin Diario shared the list of the companies that won bids for upwards of RD$10 billion to supply the Ministry of Education with over 700,000 laptops and tablets for the 2020-2021 school year. Laptops were also purchased for small business government programs.
The tender is the focus of attention, with a feature in Diario Libre first to alert there may be irregularities in the contracting.
Ruling Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) deputy Julio Fulcar defended the contracting by his brother, Education Minister Roberto Fulcar.
