Frank-the good things about Caberete are numerous, especially if you don't speak much spanish. But prices are prices of a tourist town where foreigners live-very high. And as far as any resemblance of a dominican culture, forget it. Dominicans from the capital and Santiago love to visit Caberete for a week-end. They feel as though they are visiting a foreign country without paying for an airline ticket. K
