That is not how it works!!Take a jar of 100 jelly beans and put one black one in and pick one every day and put it back. In about 70 days you will get the black one for "death".....................
Here is a far better analogy if 1% of the world were to die from a black jelly bean (or whatever it represents):
Everyone in the world is given a jar with 100 jelly beans and there is one black jelly bean in their jars.
They pick one and only one jelly bean from the jar, if it is a black one, they die. They pick one of the other 99 beans they do not die.
Every single bean regardless of color exposes each person to a sufficient dose of CV19 that if they were susceptible they would die.
Yet only the black bean pickers succumb.
They do not pick any more beans ever after that first one.
(They do not continue to pick every day until they get the black one as you suggested!).
