The Dominican Republic observes Atlantic Standard Time, which has the same hour as Eastern Daylight time (Eastern Time Zone during the months from April until October, Dayligh Saving Time).
When Daylight Saving Time expires in October, the Dominican Republic will be 1 hour earlier than in the Eastern Time zone, which will be observing Eastern Standard Time.
