Do you cry a lot? Do you cry when your soda is room temperature? I may not be a longtime regular poster, but I'm an avid daily reader. Your posts have gone from barely interesting, to stale, to annoying, to downright whiny and pathetic. Let me break it down for you. The regulars, for the most part are interesting, insightful and humourous. You are dull, irritating and seemingly desparate. If I wanted to waste my time with crap like yours, I'd tune into The Diva Network or WTN. (I highly resent having to pay for either.) Do you live near Ottawa? If so, I promise to buy you all the tissues you want if you just promise to leave us alone. You're like the person who comes to a small town and insists everyone else do things your way. Those people don't make many friends, and don't last very long. Perhaps they have a cry-baby forum over at www.oprah.com. Instead of wasting your time and ours thinking up more of your attention-desparate posts, why don't you surf over there and let us all know how it goes. You've been on this board barely a month, yet you've posted twice as many times as myself. Why you ask? I'm getting confused. Is this board dr1, focused on the Dominican Republic, or is it LL1, focused on Lee-Lee?
Here is a person who arrives on the scene in October looking for information about the DR because she thinks she might like to live there, then less that one month later she has accumulated more than 100 posts, nearly all about herself. She has asked few questions about the DR, although her first posts stated she was looking for information, and she has not provided those with questions about the DR any useful information. 111 posts, almost all about herself, her views on sex and the single girl, some war stories about encounters with sankis, and some complaints about being unsuccessful in molding the board into a let-your-hair-down gab fest, such as often takes place in a dormitory for girls.
Based on the tone of her latest posts, I can't help wondering if Lee-Lee isn't the latest alias for a poster previously registering using names beginning with J and NR.

Well I would like to start off by thanking 'Mr. Colon'. You are far too kind. And now to Pee-Pee. You start a thread giving your opinion on everyone who has made this board what it is (even Robert! what gall!), and then get upset when those same people give their opinion on you? Do you realize what a hypocrite you are? Stop and think about it. Do I claim this board is mine? No I don't. The owner of this board is Robert, a man who you insist on being rude to. Its like a bar. Lee-Lee, this place is like any other community or neighborhood.
We have established residents, short term residents and everyday foot traffic.
We have expats that have been living in the DR for 30+ years, Dominicans, Americans, Germans, Italians, lawyers, business leaders, experts in their field, teachers, etc etc.
All these people freely give their knowledge and expert advice back to the community.
You don't need to give very much on DR1 to get a more than you can ever imagined back.
It's very simple...
Just like when you move into any new neighborhood you get the low down on your surroundings, who's who and just the general feel, vibe and how it ticks.
You don't go upsetting your new neighbors by blasting the music, painting your new rented house yellow with pink spots and telling them all how they should run their lives and how great you are etc etc.
It's not going to take very long in the above scenario before you get evicted or worse, permanently removed from the planet.
I have seen all sorts come and go over the past 6 years, we are very tolerable community.
As I told you, eat some humble pie, take a step back, learn the neighborhood and the characters that reside in it before you get served your eviction notice.
