The exchange rate as of March 26 (Sunday) was 32 pesos to 1 US Dollar. This was at the airport in Santo Domingo.

At the Intercontinental Hotel and the Jaragua Casino, they give you only 30 pesos for 1 US Dollar.

Today, March 29 (Wednesday), I got a rate of 32 pesos for 1 U.S. Dollar at a Western Union Office in Santo Domingo.

The Intercontinental Hotel and the Jaragua casino still gives only 30 pesos.

I was unable to find a better rate than 32 pesos.
