Yeah, they do make you pay them a small amount for placement. However, it's also a great entry-level position with no experience required (which is good, considering I have no previous teaching experience)...
Plus hopefully this will help too, in figuring how far my monthly salary might get me a week with basic necessities. Good resource which I just found:
