Today our two oldest grandsons (11 & 15) both officially became Dominican citizens and received their Dominican birth certificates. (Don’t they look excited???) 🤣
Haha, they’re both star baseball players, but no hats today. Mr AE, aka Papa, doesn’t leave the house without one. Ever.Congratulations to them both !!! ... but I don't see Baseball Caps or even a big Watch , those are required , no ? .

Absolutely not! 😂To them, congrats.
Does he still have the sticker on the hats?
It was a lonnnggg day. Early drive to Philadelphia, and then 5-6 hours confusion at the consulate because they thought they were there for cedulas ( both too young, they looked at the 15 yr old and thought he was older). Sent to different department for birth certificates. They were tired and bored by the time they got home.Congrats to them both. Their enthusiasm (or lack thereof) notwithstanding this is a good thing for them. They will probably appreciated it much more in the future.

I think you just described typical teenagers, they need to be engaged - entertained. Ah the experience would not have been complete without the typical mess up and confusion that accompanies any visit to a dominican sanctioned state office. It was a lonnnggg day. Hahaha, exactly what Mr AE said. 😂😂😂
I bet if a Dominican birth certificate also came with a certificate you can use to get any game for the PC, Xbox or Playstation 5 (or could get baseball equipment) for free, a smile would be on both of their faces. lolCongrats to them both. Messing up and confusing people is part of their job duties. lolI think you just described typical teenagers, they need to be engaged - entertained.
