Anyone here know of any places where UK products such as PG tips, HP sauce (yes I know its made in Netherlands), Marmite, Branston Pickle etc might be available?
If I recall there is an older thread about this. You can try the search option.Rather than going to check is there anyone who knows if there are places that sell tea, marmite, hp sauce etc? Can't just go driving around the country looking for those products...would like some actual info please.
I was just looking for up to date information if that is available here, thank you.If I recall there is an older thread about this. You can try the search option.
everything you mentioned is available on AmazonAnyone here know of any places where UK products such as PG tips, HP sauce (yes I know its made in Netherlands), Marmite, Branston Pickle etc might be available?
True that. So nowhere known where UK products are available, we checked the new Janets in Cabarete...nothing there...Driving around checking different stores will consume more fuel and time than it costs on Amazon.
I may repeat myself, but you can find the products you need at Nacional or Jumbo in their international food sections. Smaller specialty stores in Santo Domingo, such as Supermercado Bravo, sometimes also sell goods from the UK. In tourist areas such as Punta Cana, it is worth visiting stores that cater to expats. However, as mentioned earlier, the most reliable option is to order online or contact expat groups on Facebook.
Great. Thanks for letting us know about Bezos.Yes heard about the supermarket which is now where L&R is next to Parada El Choco. Was thinking maybe in PC as UK is the highest number of European visitors to DR, maybe there was a British shop, apparently not. I personally refuse to use Bezos's company for anything as I just don't like how they screw people...anyways thanks for all the replies and remember YNWA
