This will certainly help Santiago and the North Coast.

United Airlines is adding more flights to to popular destinations in the Dominican Republic this winter, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The carrier is expanding its service to three daily flights between Newark and Santiago, along with three daily flights to Santo Domingo as well, the company confirmed.

Both cities have been seeing renewed interest as the Dominican Republic looks to grow its tourism product beyond the traditional hub of Punta Cana.

I flew United over to Germany then down to Turkiye earlier this year. No complaints.

Always stuck with Spirit red eye or American when flying up to FL from STI to visit family so perhaps this will be a good thing.

This is great, but I find it hard to believe that they would have THREE flights a day from Newark to STI. One is great. I doubt 3 a day will happen, even though I would like it.............
