using volver with another verb

I see a lot of lyrics to songs involving volver and another verb.. how does this get tranlated... for example in a Yoskar sarante song' he sings" me volvio attrapar(I think)' and I see other examples like "no vuelvo amar" I think I get the idea, but what would it really be said like in English..?

volver de - is to do something again
volver - usually is to return or turn

Thanks. Is the use of Volver commonplace, and not " otra vez" -or just a fancier way of saying otra vez?

Thinking about my oroginal reply "Me Volvio" could be translated as "He/She/It returned/came back to me"

Think I'll shut up now and let the Spanish speakers take over :ermm:
