Hello, Thanks for all the help on my recent posts. My dad (74, but in great shape) is coming to meet my fiancee Rosa for the first time on the 22nd of this month. We are going to visit Rosa?s family in Esperanza, but also will take a short trip somewhere for 2-3 days. Rosa and my dad both scuba dive. Is there a quality outfit and diving worth doing within 2-3 hours of Esperanza with accomodations nearby?? I can?t survive at all inclusive resorts, and that is not my dad either. We?ll be looking for a comfortable hotel. What about a waterfall tour? We will have a car.
Is Jarabacoa worth the trip, (good hotels/hiking-rafting/) or better to stay on the coast??
