This is like so many of the other holidays that are completely commercial here in the US. Is not such a big deal in DR as it is here.

At my office everybody is greeting each other with a Happy Valentines Day - what about tomorrow - all back to the regular grunts and how someone needs the coffee in a drip...

What happened to being spontaneous and just sending flowers whenever?

I think the same!! It's always been hard for me to translate, when it comes to expressing feelings, because I will like to do it in a matter that at least will get close to the Spanish sound.

I have had the opportunity to date outside my race, and I think every language has it's tiky tiky!! but when it comes to datting a Spanish speaking person (specially if he is from DR, and can use some MUELA) girl!!! There goes the melting!!!! JAJAJAJAJAJA
