You make it sound like it's impossible for a Dominican to go on a cruise. If you have a US visa and a nice travel history, other visas are easy to get. If you'd like to go on a cruise to a destination requires a different visa, there'll be plenty of time to do the paperwork to get that other one you don't have.It must be good to be a 1 per center. :laugh: I suspect you are a 0.1 per center with US, Canadian and Schengen at the same time. I was surprised to see how few Schengen visas are issued in the DR each year. Not as much interest in them as I expected. I suppose the bad times in Spain are a factor.
Of course, there's more interest in US visas as they're granted for a longer time (10 years), and easily renewable; everyone has someone in "New Yol" they can stay with. It's closer and cheaper to go there. There's also a lot more places you've heard of and have been exposed to on the media, so it's a popular destination.
