Would you guys recommend buying your own router or using one from the company providing service?

Put me on the beer list! This plug-in works great and really enhances netflix - I was just about to cancel it before I tried this. Thanks for taking the time to share it!

AZB, If your in the city, stop by the CA Burrito Shop, #9 Av. Dr. Defillo casi Av. Sarasota, so I can get you that beer, I mean burrito!

I use google chrome as web browser and then i installed media hint extension (free) to get my hulu, netflix and pandora radio activated (american proxy). This method does not seem to effect the speed of the internet and everything seems normal. This extension works as soon as you turn on chrome browser. its works in the back ground and is only fine tuned for the following sites listed above. It does not give you full american proxy experience but it does show netflix in HD along with pandora and hulu. Its simple and works like a charm. Most of all, its free.

www.mediahint.com

now you all owe me a beer. Oh wait, i don't drink alcohol. so enjoy it.
AZB

Install uTorrent and then go to The Pirate Bay and down load just about any movie or TV show you can dream of for free. You can also get any computer program, music and so many other things that it will make your head spin. It is very easy to use, on The Pirate Bay start with searching the top 100 and then click on something you want and then click the green message that says GET THIS TORRENT. It will download it onto uTorrent, then just press play and you will be watching.

Is the Burrito shop yours? I don't eat mexican food besides fajitas, and even then it is only the meat onions and tortilla. . . lol. My novia otoh digs tacos and pretty sure she likes burritos and we live a block away.

I travel a lot so it would be cool for her to have another option. We are like the best customers of Il Capricio Pizza down the block from you guys. We'll have to check it out!

I do not think that Downton Abbey is not available on Netflix wireless. It is probably available somewhere, though. Perhaps PBS or BBC.

Or, you can use SmartDNS (not a VPN) and share in all your devices. I've been using it with my iPad, Apple TV. Mynusbands windows computer and my iMac. Works great o watch Hulu Plus, Netflix, Amazon video, etc. Cost $4.95 a month.
what name of company you use ????

VPN's work really well. Still a couple free ones out there but the speed is not good for streaming movies and such. You can buy data plans for Okay prices. I pay $8.99 for 30GB of data. No time limit so if Im busy and don't use it Im not paying for an unused service like paying monthly. If you want to watch US TV, check CouchTuner, many US programs both new and past. Best part no need for a US IP address or any monthly fees. When you open a new running program there is a link next to Watch it here: above what looks like a player window. If you hit that it will take you to the free viewer page. There are always a pop up ad/window over the play button so close it and any extra tab/window it might open. Then the player is available and free TV from the US. Read a bit as it offers players for any device and if one ors not work you have one there that will, its never failed me. If it prompts you for CC info you are on the wrong page. The address bar should say zzstream.li if you are on the right page. Sound tougher then it actually is and if you need any assistance feel free to shoot me a message. Enjoy All!

Read what I posted on #27 if you missed it. It is not free, but will get you into anything and the speed is very fast for a VPN.

This is odd. Today I have not been able to access Iplayer, I get the message that it is only available within the UK. I reinstalled medhint, no change, then reinstalled firefox, no change. Even installed Chrome but still does not work. The last time this happened it magicly started working that evening. Any suggestions? thanks

Install "Hola" extension for Chrome. Click on the extension when you are on the desired page, click the flag of the country you want to use, viola!

Be careful with this site. Don't click any other options or alternative viewers. But it does work, sometimes.

This is the solution I use. It's called Unblock-Us and it's CAD$4.99 per month. All you have to do is change the DNS settings on your router and EVERY device that connects to the internet via the router will appear as though it's in the US with regard to the streaming services (Hulu, Netflix, Pandora, etc.) It's much simpler than a VPN service.
