We mourn the passing of Jenny Polanco. She was 62 and did not survive Covid-19. She died at the Ramon de Lara Hospital. She imported the disease after a trip to Spain. Jenny was a country brand name for Dominican design here and abroad. She endeavored to take Dominican design around the world. She always was an innovator in her work. She was a mentor for dozens of other young designers in both fashion and arts and crafts. She leaves a legacy. She is survived by her daughter Carla and son Luis Carlo.
