Hi Shel, Gina & Vic, Mrs McGuire here, ha ha, just want to say thank you all for your best wishes. well its a week tomorrow since i got married. The wedding day was lovely. for some strange reason i wasnt nervous at all. Mick had organised for me to have breakfast in bed and sent some flowers round for me aswell bless him so i had breakfast with my mum and basically laid in bed watching tv, i was so chilled. me and my bridesmaid were having our hair and nails done at 12 which they did a brilliant job of. it cost $176 that was for a trial for my hair and on the day, my bridemaid hair on the day, a french manicure for me and just a paint for shelly, to be honest i think they overcharged me but couldnt be bothered arguing as they did such a good job. didnt hear or see from sarah till bout 2:30 when she brought the flowers round, have to say the flowers were more orless dead, not impressed to be honest but you couldnt tell in the photos. i really dont want to go too much into detail how it all goes as it will all be lovely for you i promise. The photogropher is great and we got some great pictures apart from after a while my fringe started to stick to my head, not very pleasant, ha ha. the photos were available to view on the computer the next day for you to choose from. Gina i will find out how much it is for the dvd doing as i cant remember. All i can say is the day went perfect and we couldnt wish for it to of gone any better. All our family and friends went home yesterday so this is the start of our honeymoon now and guess wot? Micks in bed not feeling well, sod law eh, ha ha. as far as sickness going i think he had too many rums last nite, there were only a couple of people in the party of 23 that had dodgy belly for a day or so. its nothing to do with the icecubes or the water they serve as they are all fine. if you listen to what everyone says not to do you will have a rubbish holiday, just enjoy yourselves thats wot we doing an we love it. 1 tip i will give is book yourself in for a de-stress massage its for 55mins and is only $60 30 squid and its the best massage ive ever had in my life. they are brilliant, nearly all the girls in our party went as it was brill and they let u use the jacuzzi for half hour before. im having another one done this week and having my nails done again. as i said i done want to go too much into detail as it will spoil ur day but if theres any questions i will certainly answer them for you. Th hotel is fantastic and the only thing i can fault is the night entertainment, it really is the worst ive seen but everyone has dfferent tastes. well im off to get him up and into the sun. you will all love it i promise. luv Mrs Mcguire xxxx

Hi guys, guna do a quick post for you while im still here, Gina & Vic i bet your getting well excited, you will love it i promise.
Photogrophy - The guy who take the photos speaks brill english so your fine, and the guy who owns the shop is english and he does the dvd, it costs $350 dollars. we didnt have that we took a photo package which was your 14 free photos 5x7 with 26 extra 5x7 and then 2 others 8x10 along with a small wedding album (3 to choose from) then all your photos u picked on a disc, that cost $320 dollars. u can view your photos on the computer the next day, any additional photos cost $7 dollars each. and it only took 1 day for them ready after we picked them.
Buffet Restaurant - Its ok but you will get bored after a week if you go every day. then do a mean roast lamb and rosemary sauce on a thursday night though, he he. theres always chips and nuggets or sausages for the kids, its not all weird stuff, all i can say is try it you never know. oh and the lasagne is lovely and small jacket potatoes were my favourite. you breakfast is in here aswell, all normal stuff, bacon, saua, eggs fried, scrambled, omelette, your choice. and the pancake station is WOW, ask for one with raisins in and then cover it with maple syrup, YUMMY.
Italian - Very nice, we had our wedding in there, nicely decorated very elegant.
Mexican - Its ok, not really my favourite although mick likes it. its also open from 12:30 till 5pm for pizzas, well worth having they are lovely and there is a salad bar aswell.
Carribean - gorgeous, its right on the beach. just dont have the conch cocktail for starters, we thought it may be prawns or something but he drew us a picture AND ITS EEL yuck, didnt get that obviuosly. you have about 4-5 choices of starter, main and dessert in all a la carte restaurants. its also open for lunch, you can take children at lunchtime, its really nice, its the best dinner we have had.
Lotus - Think this is our favourite. they give you a pink cocktail, its gorgeous and tastes like fruit juice, ha ha trust me its not, laden with tons of alcohol, ha ha. the food is lovely, you dont get tons in any of the restaurants, but just enough, try the banana flambe dessert in there its beautifull.
Flea Market - just on the other side of the carribean restaurant, will warn you they pounce on you, only if you walk over, they cant come to the restaurant. but theres about 20 or so little hut shops but i really didnt like it and was a little scared so we didnt stay.
Tips - bring plenty of hangers as theres hardly any in wardrobes. Defo try the antistress massage (WOW) dont buy loads of crisps and things at the shop on resort as its expensive, check the stores in plaza, i cant explain which shop but one of them seems to be the cheapest for everything, the front of the shop has rows and rows of alchohol in windows, chocolate to right and alchohol and fags to left, that all i can explain. Cigs - Mick smokes L&B but they about 24 quid so he been buying marlboro lights which he likes and they are bout 15 quid.
Wedding day - Just realx and enjoy, as i said before im not going into great detail as i think it will spoil it for you.
Royal suites - We are in a deluxe room and its fantastic, although we didnt get the hammock and bathrobes and slippers, we only just asked for them but we got them straight away. ive seen some other deluxe rooms and they are nothing like ours, we upstairs and the ceiling is really high and beautifull so i think we did ok.
Right guys i better go as hubby will be getting miffed that hes all on his own, ha ha. Vic & Gina i wish you all the best for your future weddings. We loved it and wouldnt of wanted it any other day. hi Girls me again, i keep fogetting totell you the mosquitoes out here are hungry little gits, if your prone to getting bit you certainly will out here, i got 7 bites on 1 ankle the very first night i was here, fr some reson they seem to love the repellent, ive tried all different repellents but they still keep biting me. The worst place they get you is in the buffet restaurant as they hide under the table cloths, so big tip for you, try not to put your legs under the tables, even the reps tell you thats where they get you most, and they are still about during the day aswell, i got bit last year but not to this extent. Have been told that loads of people have sworn by using avon skin so soft, as apparently they seem to hate it. it hasnt ruined our holiday by any means but they really have gone to town on my legs and have now started on my back, ah well. c yas xx

no found out the day after we got here , i have just booked my hair appointment it all seems very easy there is a book to choose from if you do not know what you want! (like me) and i am having a trial on monday aswell all for $85 , and we had the meeting yesterday with the wedding co ordinator and that was really helpfull so all good will keep you posted if it raining !!!!
