What about masks with no more SOE and no more Curfew starting Monday October 10?

With the last SOE expiring on Monday and no more curfews, will the government still have the authority to force a mask mandate or does that disappear as well?

Not sure if they'll have the legal authority but seeing how it's their country and not my own, if they say we still need to wear a mask, probably a good idea to wear one.

I would think it's the individual company's decision to require one inside. That I can respect and can choose whether or not to patronize that business. It's the stupid "wear it always" rules that I despise.

The only place that I have worn a mask in the past weeks is in the supermarket and the bank.. I took several taxis and Ubers lately, been in many restaurants in Santo Domingo and nobody is wearing them....except a few waitresses.

The article announcing the end of the SOE said they would still be requiring wearing masks and social distancing. I think you'll see supermarkets, banks, farmacias, and government offices continuing to require that for quite a while. Other businesses I've been to have already stopped requiring it.

Indeed, the question about wearing masks has been answered within the new regulations on being vaxed or tested..

Since CV19 is here, there and everywhere to stay, this could last forever and every and that is a very long time.
