What is the actual location of the new RITZ? Well you know that one place over by the other place? Well its not there it is over by that other place.

The project had its first Vista Publica yesterday and it is definitely the same property in La Boca where the so-called Silicon Cabarete or Eco whatever was to be. The investor bailed out of that when they couldn't get a permit for environmental reasons. But the local promoter, Gordon Gannon teamed up with Ian Schiembri Sant, the owner of Gansvort in Sosua and the old Azurro properrty on Cabarete Bay. Schiembre Sant brought in Marriot to take over all three sites, including La Boca. The issues that sunk the former project in La Boca remain, including citizen opposition to the cutting of the public access road and the privatization on the 37K m2 of public land at the mouth of the river. The issue now is whether the extra appeal of the Brand and the political ground work that has been done will be sufficient to overcome the objections this time.

If "Brand = $$$$$", I suspect all three locations are good to go.

i don't understand what's your problem with polo? there is a polo playing field already at the entrance to PP and several more around the country with quite a few players participating. PP is a bit of a campo anyhow, lots of people keep horses, there is a riding club and frequent riding events.

I had a driver 30 years ago. I can tell you it's an ego thing, which is why I dumped him after a few months.

I thought that the "P" Polo was the brand - Windy was talking about

You (dv8) are using 'p' polo as in the aristocratic game.

Perhaps we should clarify that before another thread bites the dust!!!???

Expensive game -
you need about 8 - 10 ponies/game... at least one man for each... and they travel... even fly
