RCA TVs. Radio Corporation of America! Not Anymore!

They were "Once-Upon-A-Time",...."Made In America!
Then Japan.is my guess.Propably now in Korea,or China.
STILL,I would not hesitate to buy one here in the DR'The 32 inch,is about 15,500 pesos, all day long,EVERYWHERE!
My wife just bought an "LG",42" LED for "HER" bedroom. It's just too big for my taste.
Go for th RCA.at $400 US it ain't a bad deal.

I thought RCA went away 20/30+ years ago. All that's left are trademarks.

Isn't the RCA trademark owned/leased/licensed to some French company?

Philips lead the world in energy consumption just now........

Visio did.

Important if you are going solar or need to mainain power when supplies are off.

Philips - IFA 2011 - Philips Econova TV

So answer - go to low consumption TV and try and save electrictiy and the planet. Plasma TVS consume much electricty.

Pi2, has it ever occurred to you that hot air also contributed to MMGW?

I didn't think so...

......It is simple and inexpensive to have your entire home electrical system grounded. It takes a copper rod, some cable, a connector and a tiny bit of knowledge.
Not quite that simple if a grounding conductor is not installed and connected in every receptacle/lighting outlet box in the house.

"NO"!
My brother-in-law in Boston has a 65 " TV!
I don't like to have to turn my head to watch a running back make a 50 yard run!

Well - I am watching ( wtih my friend ) my 38 inch powered off solar as I write - visio was best then when I bought.

Computer is also off solar.

Web server I use is totally green.

It takes some people time to catch up - add 5 years elec bills with 10% inflation per year to price of TV.

Correct Thomson bought the name from GE in 1988. RCA had a long a varied history. There are currently no televisions Made in the USA that I am aware of. Even RCA had moved their production to Mexico in the early '80s. Today the TV line is made by ON Corporation of Korea.
