Good question. A real character John was. Always entertaining. Hung around Rocky's a lot. Has not been seen in many years.

"Big John" the wrestler owned The Blue Dolphin, not Sosua Palace.
Is that the guy that drove around in a convertible Mercedes?

Seems like he did own the sosua palace in the begining, then built the blue dolphin. Also was selling lots in same area, but that was like 2003.

One of the last episodes of Caso Cerrado I saw was two Dominicans arguing over a debt. It turns out one guy, who was in the states on false papers, sold his fake identity to another bozo so he could work. Homeboy then wanted the guy's tax refund check, claiming it rightfully belonged to him.

I cannot believe a scam like that went public, seeing as INS and/or Homeland Security would surely deport both of them.

Then some chica (an ex-girlfriend of the accused party) came on to vouch for the lack of character of both the men. She was so fine my eyes began to hurt from staring at her. I said to myself if a Dominican woman this good looking fell for one of these clowns, the whole thing is either staged or this woman is beyond stupid.

On that note, let's keep this thread on-topic-"Whatever happened to..."

Staged. A close friend has been there twice... as a paid participant: airfare, hotel, meals and $150.00. The sad part is that most folks believe the stupid cases are real.

And whatever happened to miguelitiningo, a.k.a. miguelomaniacal?

I miss him: that pariguayo viejo coge la cuerda m?s r?pido que un reloj carabelita.

i have heard an old man died in santiago. so happens this man from campo had US visa for a long time. Turns out the man was too old to travel so he let his best friend use his identity to travel to USA on his visa or maybe the fake man got a visa with his own picture using the old man's identity. now that the old man is dead, the family wants the fake guy to stop using his id entity. they want his visa back but he refuses to give it up. I wonder how that will work now that the original owner of the visa is dead? this is some story I heard from a girl in santiago. I wonder if the dead man and his friend had some sort of a deal between them, money exchanged? who knows.

Thanks, Wud... No more radio station in Miami...since 2011... Univision did a whole lot of 'spring cleaning' and let go of more than 600 employees... after 22 yrs. with them...

Still doing some voice overs and such, and working in a sort of related field but not very pleased with the actual work.. Pay is good, benefits excellent...but very STRESSFUL and NOT FUN AT ALL! ;)

What about yourself? Where are you now? :rambo:

Same old spot in Canada, still have the Salsa FM t-shirts, lol.
