Bring back the Gorgon,
Yep bring back the Gorgon and treat him with the fairness yall give the foxbots
I would like him back too. A curious individual but a variety of perspectives is key. A little sad to see an older guy still fighting for loser ideology when he could have embraced and experienced the American dream as a well educated Black.

Yes, Gorgon could always be relied upon for an interesting opinion. I miss his contributions, but he fell foul of the powers that be here once too often! He's a good guy in person too.

I am sure that the Gordon is a good guy but he became a guy looking for an argument on this forum.

CC was a good ole southern boy............but only if you think Ohio is in the south. His later year ties were to the Boston area.

Golo was an interesting rascal.

CC was an enjoyable character I loved sparring with here. An Ohio boy? Interesting. I wonder what became of his wife and children in the DR. Did they return to a life of poverty?

Thinking about how Merengue Dutchie and yourself seem so alike. Educated, moderate and informative. The quiet bureaucratic type who always keeps the ledger in order.

If you had to use one word to describe cc it would be....................non-conformist.

His life, like so many others who experienced combat in Vietnam, was altered by his experience there.........and in particular on one specific day. Having witnessed what he witnessed and survived what he survived, readers here may have had a better understanding of his unconventional.....seemingly devil may care attitude.

I miss him.

Looking for an argument? Please! He would get attacked as soon as he posted his opinion or thoughts on anything. Plus it seems personal from someone here and ill leave it at that.

He quite often was the attacker by telling people that he was far superior educated than everybody else.
Plus every thread he turned into a racial one to fit his agenda.
If he'd refrain from that he certainly would be a positive contributor to this forum.

CC's had a military disability pension. If that passes on to his wife they'll be fine. His son posted her in English when Tommy Wonders died. I had been to his house and met his kids and they are educated and respectful so I think they will do fine.

I took him to Boca Chica several times, the most memorable being Frank Recktenwald's Thanksgiving dinner one year. The dinner was flawless even down to those shitty canned green peas that everybody eats on turkey day; perfect turkey, jellied canned cranberries, perfect mashed potatoes American style. . Tommy was in afterburner raconteur mode and had the people at his table mesmerized.

We shall not see the likes of him again. (Archangel Michael whispers to God "He's still talking." God "Lighten up Mikey. That's what I made him for.")

RIP Big guy.

You should have seen his pms, he eviscerated me as a race traitor, uncle tom, sell out etc. Odd because I returned to live in RD for several years, still have substantial ties etc. He never returned to Jamaica despite having at worse a Middle Class background.

Well educated, intelligent and world wise. Also bitter, angry and spiteful. I would still like him back on the board though

We shared endless polite PMs, and he was given more chances and more warnings than anyone on DR1 in the past 10 years. He went down shooting, a suicide that was his choice. The fact of the matter is that he chose to leave here by his behavior, knowing full well what the outcome would be. He knows how to reach me if he changes his mind.

Yes AE - he opted out - glad you spoke up

I spoke to him at length about it .....
It was damaging him and his psyche..... he accepted that

Honestly, he doesn't miss it

He made a prime target for some - and took the bait too well.
