Which airport is Spirit flying into from FTL

Yesterday on travel news here on DR1 they announced that Spirit will be flying into the DR from Ft.Lauderdale. Anybody know which cities they will use as destinations in the DR? Also, when service is to start?

I think that santo domingo will be the destination for Spirit air.

Have it from an insider source that Spirit will start flights to the Dominican Republic as of 18 November. Do not have info on the airport they will fly into.

That's excellent news because it provides the country with low cost fares to Florida.

Spirit Airlines will start Fort Lauderdale - Santo Domingo service effective 18th of November 2004, with 1 daily frequency, adding a 2 daily frequency on 16 December 2004, schedule as follows;

Effective 18th of November 2004

NK 0425 FLL 19:15 - 22:30 SDQ (Daily MD80)
NK 0436 SDQ 08:00 - 09:53 FLL (Daily MD80) * effective 19th of Nov

(upgrade a second daily effective 16 December 2004 untill 9th of Jan 2005)

NK 0215 FLL 10:55 - 14:10 SDQ (Daily MD80)
NK 0438 SDQ 15:10 - 16:45 FLL (Daily MD80)

I just bought two tickets- Santo Domingo-Fort Lauderdale for Dec. 13-20 for $240 each-that's the $59(each way) introductory price plus taxes- pretty good price- good departure and return times also.
