and most of Bell is CDMA although they do have some phones that are also GSM.

im sorry apostropheman but I don't think they do...I am in sales for Rogers...Bell uses CDMA & Rogers GSM. they aren't compatible so I don't think there are any bell gsm phones.

My apologies if you are aware of something I am not.

yes, we shall see
and to answer your question wich is completley off this topic WHY i have rogers phone and want to switch to a blackberyy BELL PHONE ??

I never asked why you wanted to switch....

i could care less why you asking...

You reacted to why we are confused by the fact that in one post you said you had rogers & in another you ask about bell

you thought it was normal to have 2 blackberries from different carriers

i commented with my opinion...

thats what a message board is all about...

furthermore i think you did mention your age in one of your posts...but even if you didn't your maturity & choice of language ie...calling dr1 members "peeps" gives it away

to answer your question....you should use your rogers blackberry & get an orange sim card to simplify the process & cost

I think someone should do the resort in PC a favour and warn them that they've employed someone who is not entirely stable...

no problema

this blackberry world phone
BlackBerry® 8830 World Edition
is CDMA but also supports GSM. not saying that Bell has GSM, just that they offer phones that could.

Okay I will ask this here and hope someone knows, if not I will check with Bell (but it takes so long getting through)

I have unlimited text messaging, so whenever I am outside of Canada, I will text whoever I wish to speak to rather than phone them and incur roaming charges. So far I have only done this in Canada & stateside. So do you think the same would apply if I texted from the DR to someone Canada & stateside? Or should I be getting on the phone with Bell and endure the wait?
