Let it be said, Uruguay will take their 3rd cup this year, as much as no one will believe, and as good as the other teams look, asides from the dutch, Uruguay is undefeated, and will remain that way.

Arriba la Celeste!!

Funny how I thought this was going to be an all South American final.

I'm pulling for the orangemen even though I won't be disappointed if Germany wins.

I still remember fondly going to the local games in Kaiserslautern (when they were first division) in the standing section of the bleachers drinking beer, eating rindwurst mit brochen and dancing everytime we scored. Jawohl!

Arriba la Celeste!!

At the start they were 5 SA teams
At the quarter finals 4 were left
At the semi-final one is left
At the final none will be there

Germany will WIN, sorry Uruguay.

Why not watch the final, this could be the best game of all.
I'm a supporter of Brazil, I didn't like the way they lost, but it's just a sport, life goes on and why not enjoy the sport for what it is. Seeing those Germans play this year is by itself an opportunity to marvel of there incredible control of themselves and of the ball. Hope the best for your team, it would be a huge surprise for me if they win.

No offense, but did anybody see the Uruguay S. Korea game? S. Korea controlled the ball most of the time. Who knows maybe Uruguay could wake up and play really good but I doubt it.

No offense at all. Anything can happen in sports.
England, France and Italy lost, Argentina, Chili and Brazil lost. All those teams were expected to win but they all will be at home watching the semi-final, if they are not sore losers.

statistically it would be Uryguay's Turn, yep,
BUT I HATE STATS AND DO NOT BELIEVE IN THEM!!!
lololol
Spain been just lucky more than once, even to make it into the last 16 WITH Torres.
Germany will beat Hoolland 4:2 in the Final

Goo United Soccer Nations of Germany GOOO.

the only big uncertanty on that final, to speak in hurricane prediction terms, is to forcast which Nationalities will shoot those Goals for the Germans.
will it be Turkish Goal?
Polnish?
Brazilian Styled?
Ghana has good chances, too.
or may there finally come up the lucky 13 named Thomas Mueller and run the whole Cheese with Goals by a German Player again?

I await a great Game in that Final,
and a dirty Semi against Spain, it's sorrily their Style when they feel they loose.

Go Germany Gooo!!!

FYI Here's the list of foreign born on germany: Cacau (Brazil) Klose, Podolski and Trochowski (all born in Poland), Marin (Bosnia), Tasci and Ozil (Turkish), Gomez (Spain), Boateng (Ghana), Aogo (Nigeria), Khedira (Tunisia).

As for everyone discounting Uruguay, this is not news - its happened before and they've won it before under similar circumstances. But what I can guarantee is the whole team giving everything they have - unlike a few players I will not name.

We'll see how it goes tomorrow, however I'm confident uruguay will push through. I like the Dutch, and Spain and Germany have had good runs, but they have both lost to inferior teams this world cup, serbia and switzerland respectively.

Remember, it's not about the size of the dog in the fight, it's about the size of the fight in the dog.

Arriba!

Germany have copied the french then. France won the WC in 1998 with mostly foreign born players.

are all Uruguayan players born in Uruguay?
it is quiet since a while common practice in several Teams.
IMHO it takes away some flair of a National Team Event.
heck, for the International mixed Squads we have the Champions League and UEFA Cup etc etc.
but it is impossible to draw a Line there,
the naturalized Persons are even under the Obligation to serve the new Country's Military, so why not to be allowed to play the National Futbol Team?
it's the winds of change,
but it sure takes away some Flair of the Cup.

I have always thought England did not tap enough into their "foreign Players". I remember how dificult it was for John Barnes and later Ian Wright to get into the team. I think John Barnes was Jamaican.
