Fernández promises to continue PRSC public works

Last week, Leonel Fernández said that if elected he will finish the public works that the present government has under construction, and that contribute to the development of the country. Leonel Fernández was touring the area of Barahona. He said that if elected, he would promote ecotourism in the area and would develop the port so that it could receive cruise ships. He emphasized that he would implement effective international tourism promotion. He believed that by supporting tourism, the country could develop other areas such as meat and arable farming, and handicraft production to supply hotels, restaurants and gift shops in large quantities.
