Peynado heads for U.S. to sign contracts for power stations

Vice President Jacinto Peynado has announced that he will travel to the United States this weekend to negotiate the construction of at least two power stations each with a capacity for 125 megawatts. Both plants would cost US$25 million. He will also explore sources of funding and meet with potential investors. A solution to the chronic electricity shortage is a top priority of all three presidential candidates.
