The Dominican Davis Cup tennis team has gone to El Salvador to participate in the Zone 3 of America round robin series. The Dominicans will compete against Trinidad & Tobago on 5 March, Antigua on the 6th, Haiti on the 7th, and against Costa Rica on the 9th. The winner of Zone 3 will move on to Group 2 of America in the qualifying race for the 1997 Davis Cup.
