Millions spent on political advertising

The Listín Diario revealed last week that a study of the spending on advertising by the political parties shows that from 1 January to 10 March 1996, the PRSC had spent the most, RD$56 million, compared to the RD$34 million for the PLD and RD$16 million for the PRD. The monies have principally gone to television with RD$105 million, the press RD$5.6 million, radio RD$5.5 million and cable TV, RD$2.2 million.
