The Central Bank has reported that the accumulated rate of inflation during the first quarter of this year registered a slight increase of 0.19%, less than the 2.77% last year. Gross international reserves of the Central Bank were US$535.5 million, US$6.9 million more than the level at the end of 1995. Net international reserves were up US$35.8 million from US$87.4 million in December 1995 to US$123 million at the end of March.
