Maribel Gassó challenges the PRD and PLD

Maribel Gassó, vice presidential candidate for the PRSC, challenged her fellow vice presidential candidates to a debate the manifestos of their respective political organizations. Maribel Gassó said that despite what the surveys and polls are showing in this election no candidate can claim victory until the JCE declares the winner. The 37-year old Maribel, as she is known in this campaign, would like to debate with Fernando Alvarez Bogaert, who is old enough to be her father, and her contemporary Jaime David Fernández. She said, “This is an invitation by a lady.”

Maribel commented, in an interview published by the Listín Diario, that she has found her entrance into the political world interesting and that she plans to continue in politics after the election. She was best known as a young business leader before her launch into politics by the PRSC presidential candidate selecting her as the party’s vice presidential candidate.
