Jacinto Peynado says he is the best

On Wednesday, 9 May, Jacinto Peynado said that if he is elected he will be able to act with independence and in the best interests of the nation, as he will be able to form a government without ties and prior commitments. He said, “We have no ties with business interests, have not offered them ministries or government departments, nor made commitments with foreign countries, be they foreign powers or individuals, nor with economic and political groups, which some may be obliged to give them positions in the government as if it were a cake. We have no outside commitments, and almost none with Reformistas.”
