British ambassador say U.K. businessmen wish to invest here

The British ambassador, Dick Thomson, said that more than 20 U.K. companies are interested in investing in the Dominican Republic and conducting business in several different areas. Mr Thomson also said that the British Government is willing to collaborate in different sectors, so that they may benefit from the U.K.’s experience in the privatization of nationalized industries. He said that Great Britain is committed to the development of the Dominican Republic, and that this has been communicated to the incoming president, Dr Leonel Fernández.
