The United States ambassador, Donna J. Hrinak, said that the commercial relationship between her nation and the Dominican Republic is increasing, and added that the proof is that last year the country’s commercial balance with the U.S. maintained the reciprocated growth which has characterized it over the years. She also indicated that commerce between the two nations is very vibrant and that it will strengthen even more with the new possibilities that are opening.
