The small gap, left by the absence of German tourists in the hotels in the north of the country, has been covered, in the last few months by a greater number of tourists from the United Kingdom. According to business man, Arturo Villanueva, in spite of the decrease in German tourists coming into the country, many are still arriving, attracted by the competitiveness of the local pricing. Mr. Villanueva said that a better season is expected than that recently forecast because of the British tourists, who are taking advantage of the availability of better holiday packages.
