Mexican bank increases credit amount

The Banco del Comercio Exterior Mexicano (BANAMEX) has increased its line of credit for the purpose of financing imports from Mexico to the local commercial bank, Banco Intercontinental by US$1 million. Mr. David Toribio, president of the Cámara de Comercio Dominico-Mexicana, announced that the contract signed last year for US$3 million has been increased to US$4 million for 1996. BANAMEX also said that there was a possibility of making such facilities available in other D.R. commercial banks.
