A group of interested persons have designed a plan for the recovery of the state owned airline, Compañía Dominicana de Aviación (CDA). Alfredo Paredes, Pedro Cabrera, Salvador Franco Caamaño and César Caracas said that if the plan is supported by the government, CDA could be back in operation in ten months. Although CDA has a debt of RD$392 million, they say that the major part of this is with public institutions, so it can be recovered.
