The director of the National Statistics Office, Maritza Rossi de Perez, announced that the final results of the 1993 National Census will soon be released. Mrs. Rossi de Perez said that the personnel at the Statistics Office have been increased to prepare the final report, which will be circulated throughout the D.R. and on the Internet. The National Census was carried out on 24 and 25 September 1993.
