Roberto Saladín, administrator of the Banco de Reservas, says that the government will create 320,000 new jobs during the next four years. He said that President Leonel Fernández’s target is to reduce the unemployment rate, for which he will lay out a plan for the creation of 80,000 new jobs per year. Meanwhile, the minister to the presidency, Danilo Medina, confirmed that the government will quickly create 20,000 new jobs.
