The nine year old daughter of President Leonel Fernández left hospital on Friday, 11 October, after two days as an in-patient to have her appendix removed. Nicole Fernández was successfully treated at the Centro de Ginecología y Obstetricia. President Fernández, who is divorced from the girl’s mother, Rocío Domínguez, visited his daughter daily.
