The Dominican Republic and other 13 states in the Caribbean have agreed to establish a free trade agreement. The announcement was made by the Minister for Foreign Relations, Eduardo Latorre, who explained that the agreement will allow the D.R. to export its products to the other members free of import duties. The free trade agreement will include Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Trinidad, St Kitts Nevis, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Santa Lucia, and Surinam.
