The president of the Asociación Dominicana de Exportadores (ADOEXPO), Alberto Bonetti, has commented on the recent announcement made by the Minister for Foreign Relations Eduardo Latorre regarding the beginning of the negotiations towards establishing a free trade agreement with the Caricom. He said that this initiative, together with the one taken by the Centro Dominicano de Exportaciones (CEDOPEX) of removing the obstacles that affect the exports, are clear signs that the new government is looking to strengthen the country’s overseas trade.
