Vaccination campaign

A national vaccination campaign is aiming to immunize 650,000 children under the age of three against polio and measles, at a cost of RD$18 million. The Pan American Health Organization and Dominican health NGO Rehabilitaci?n have provided funding and staff for the program. The Ministry of Public Health (SESPAS) says that there has not been a single case of either disease for two years now, a testament to the success of such campaigns in the past. The effort will start tomorrow and last for three days.
